The mescreen™ Research Validator is a compound assessment platform that leverages mitochondrial function and dynamics in order to generate data to aid in the development, formulation, scientific and clinical support of Customer’s supplements, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and biologic compounds. The pairing of functional measures with dynamic or structural assessments in a patented optimized bioassay, imaging, and machine-learning process provides detailed insight into overall mitochondrial efficiency and how it is impacted by the introduction of test material into the mescreen™ assay. This data provides valuable insights into the targeted clinical effect of the test material.

Studies have been performed at UC San Diego with the Verséa proprietary machine learning system on over 60 FDA approved compounds and probes. These are known to impact mitochondrial function and dynamics have demonstrated the ability of the platform to detect changes in mitochondrial function and structure when test material is introduced into the assay.
